MEET SARA MCMANN
“I create a grounded, authentic space where high-pressure teens and athletes can drop the mask and build real resilience.”
SESSION EXPERIENCE
My style is calm, grounded, and straightforward. I create a space where teens can be real without feeling judged or lectured. Some sessions focus on untangling tough emotions or internal pressure; others are more practical and skill-based. We may talk about school, sports, relationships, identity, performance anxiety, or what it feels like to hold everything together on the outside while struggling inside.
Teens who feel overwhelmed by academic or sports pressure and secretly fear failing.
High-achieving teens, student-athletes, and perfectionists who are burned out or constantly feel “on.”
Teens dealing with anxiety, trauma, identity concerns, self-esteem struggles, or intense emotions.
Parents who want thoughtful guidance while protecting the trust their teen needs in therapy.
CARE MODALITIES
THERAPEUTIC APPROACH
Therapy is not one-size-fits-all, especially for teens. I tailor the work to the person in front of me and combine evidence-based therapy with insights from elite performance psychology and trauma-informed care. The goal is to help teens understand what is happening internally, build usable coping skills, and develop emotional strength that carries into school, sports, relationships, and life.

Founder & CEO | Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
I’ve spent more than 23 years helping teens and families move through difficult seasons. I bring deep empathy, direct conversation, and humor — while always taking your teen’s growth seriously.

Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor
I bring a calm, steady, judgment-free approach and help teens turn difficult emotions, school pressure, ADHD, and family conflict into practical skills they can actually use.

Associate Marriage & Family Therapist | APCC
I want teens to feel safe enough to be themselves — not judged, lectured, or pushed into someone else’s expectations. Therapy is a place to understand who they are and build confidence from there.

Associate Marriage & Family Therapist
I work alongside teens rather than talking at them. The goal is to understand what is keeping them stuck, recognize their strengths, and build realistic ways to move forward.

Associate Marriage & Family Therapist
I create a warm, empowering space where teens can feel seen without judgment, process difficult experiences, and build practical skills for emotions, relationships, and everyday life.
