MEET CHRIS TAYLOR
“I've spent more than 23 years helping adolescents and families find steady ground through difficult seasons.”
SESSION EXPERIENCE
My style is direct, warm, and human. I don’t believe therapy has to feel stiff or clinical for teens to make meaningful progress. We can talk honestly about the hard things, use humor when it helps lower the pressure, and focus on the strengths and skills your teen can use in real life. I take your teen’s journey seriously without making every session feel heavy.
Teens who feel anxious, depressed, overwhelmed, or stuck and need someone who can connect without talking down to them.
Teens who have pulled away from parents or become difficult to reach and need a trusted adult outside the family.
Teens struggling with behavior, motivation, emotional regulation, or the pressures of adolescence.
Parents who want practical guidance, clearer understanding, and a therapist who treats them as a partner in the process.

CARE MODALITIES
THERAPEUTIC APPROACH
I lead with connection and a strength-based view of the teen in front of me. I focus on understanding what is underneath the behavior, helping teens recognize the strengths they already have, and building practical skills for emotions, relationships, and everyday challenges. I also work with parents so the progress in therapy can translate into stronger connection and support at home.

EXPLORE ALTERNATIVE FITS

Associate Professional Clinical Counselor
I understand the pressure to perform while struggling underneath it. My work helps teens build resilience, emotional balance, and confidence without judgment or lectures.

Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor
I bring a calm, steady, judgment-free approach and help teens turn difficult emotions, school pressure, ADHD, and family conflict into practical skills they can actually use.

Associate Marriage & Family Therapist | APCC
I want teens to feel safe enough to be themselves — not judged, lectured, or pushed into someone else’s expectations. Therapy is a place to understand who they are and build confidence from there.

Associate Marriage & Family Therapist
I work alongside teens rather than talking at them. The goal is to understand what is keeping them stuck, recognize their strengths, and build realistic ways to move forward.

Associate Marriage & Family Therapist
I create a warm, empowering space where teens can feel seen without judgment, process difficult experiences, and build practical skills for emotions, relationships, and everyday life.
